The Christmas Season

December 30, 2005

The Christmas season is a very demanding time of year. There is always so much to do resulting in things you don’t around to. There's a feeling of being to busy and to tired and feelings of wondering what Christmas will be like this year and how will it all go.

There were the controversies this year as well. Some very special store people wished me a “Merry Christmas.” Most clerks just seemed uncomfortable and just wished me a “good day.” Not the same.

When Christmas Day finally came it was such a very good thing. There was a sense to joy. We sang carols and unwrapped gifts but it was more than that. It was being with family and friends in a special way. It was a thankful Christmas. Thankful for getting together. Thankful that we had each other. Thankful for Christ’s birth.

Happy Birthday, Jesus. Merry Christmas.
