Sunrise

Winter mornings can be fairly bleak. The stark branches without leaves, the morning chill. But the sunrise brought something different this morning.
There was the first light that crept over the Sangre de Christo Mountains and touched the high clouds. The soft illumination of reddish pink that said it would be another good day.
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
