How hard can it be?

Some days, it's hard to live a Christian life. Other days, it isn't hard - it's impossible....
Why isn't life easier for us and for those we are called to encourage? Maybe it's because God uses the tough times to help us grow beyond what we had thought were our limits.
Sometimes the challenge is to help a friend who is struggling with temptation or despair. But think about it - nothing shows the influence of Christ in our lives more than helping someone else to please God. Wow!
Where do we get that love, energy, and strength of character? Before the crisis boils up, we make Christ our constant companion. That way, he's there to be a rock when our friend needs help.
Spend time with God today, be a hero tomorrow. How hard can it be?
